Route 33 - km 7.5 - Maipú

The link between the Zucardi family and viniculture was first established in 1949 when the engineer Alberto Zucardi started developing irrigation systems for vineyards.

The production of vines started in Maipú in1963, then in 1973 in Santa Rosa although the building of their winery had already started in 1968. Since then the Zucardi family have put a lot of effort into the development of vines for the production of high quality varietals that can be exported to the most demanding international markets. Therefore they have become one of the leading exporters in Argentina.

The vines grown in Santa Julia, Family Zucardi and Finca Beltrán are at 700 m above sea level. The superior quality of the wines starts in the vineyards thanks to an innovating conduction system that allows the vineleaves to be naturally exposed to sunrays, with a perfect circulation of air through the foliage and grapes.

The winery is located 37 Km to the east of Mendoza city in Fray Luis Beltrán, department of Maipú. It is surrounded by 170 hectares of its own vineyards and from the tasting hall visitors can be delighted by a magnificent view of Los Andes mountain range. It also has an exclusive Casa del Visitante (Visitor's House) where they can enjoy different types of country lunch (with a previous reservation) surrounded by vineyards and tasting wines in a peaceful atmosphere they'll never forget. In addition the firm owns another 450 hectares in the department of Santa Rosa. It has a total capacity of approximately 16 million liters, including stainless steel tanks, barrels and epoxyresined pools.
